Going back to what a "cabin in the woods" should feel like, this quant A-Frame eco cabin nestled amongst trees, with incredible views overlooking the Breede River is perfect for anyone looking to get back to basics and in touch with their soul & nature.

Sleeping 4- with a lofted queen bed and two single beds down stairs, the cabin is equipped with a gas stove, outdoor braai, fridge and all utensils, pots, pans cutlery etc needed to cook your meals. Tea, coffee, milk & biscuits provided as well as boardgames all makes for a cozy stay. The cabin is off grid with a small inverter to charge devices, there is no wifi however there is signal. Towels are provided and there is a gas heater for those colder nights.

There is a private eco compost toilet just outside the cabin and for those who prefer a flushing toilet, just a few steps away there is a beautifully appointed communal bathroom area shared by campsite visitors with a shower area and separate toilet.

Although near the campsite the A-frame provides enough privacy for those looking for an alternative to camping or glamping - which are other accommodation options when staying at the wonderful Gaia Sanctuary.

Relax on the deck or hammock taking in the sounds of nature and the flowing river, go for long walks on the property, a swim or fishing in the river, pack a picnic and enjoy it along the banks, book yourself a healing facial or massage treatment or simply curl up in bed with a good book.

There is also an array of activities to do in the area such as river rafting, horse riding or simply enjoying one of the many restaurants in the nearby town of Swellendam
